Cotton Clouds

After the first collection, Cotton Clouds emerged from a growing realisation: many people were struggling to find high-quality cotton garments. Inspired by this, I saw an opportunity to make a difference. There’s an abundance of cotton out there, but so much of it is discarded simply due to minor imperfections like small stains or holes — imperfections that can easily be mended or upcycled into something beautiful.

With this in mind, I focused on breathing new life into discarded cotton fabrics, transforming them into timeless, sustainable pieces. Cotton Clouds follows the cottagecore aesthetic that began with my first collection but is captured in a more refined, professional setting. I chose a photo studio on my university campus for the photoshoot, gathering friends and volunteers to model the pieces. To stay true to my vision, I added touches of nature, such as flowers and greenery, to the backdrop, enhancing the ethereal, airy feel of the collection.
